In 2004, Rare Exotic Birds made its debut. Beginning in the late 2000, DAVIES has been a bird breeder. It was a passion that suddenly took off! We needed more space for the store because we had hundreds of breeding birds and a large number of rescue birds. That aspect just sort of “happened.” Upkeep and veterinarian care expenditures were partially covered by the occasional sale of babies. It takes a lot of love and passion to run this business; you can’t do it for “the money.” A lot of love, tolerance, and compassion are needed. It can be exhausting, messy, and hard work. To keep things moving, our associates put in a lot of effort. In addition to helping our clients, we are always available to take in cherished dogs in need of a second chance or a permanent home.
